A New York advertising executive has accepted responsibility for urinating off a Florida rooftop bar, after police said pedestrians below were hit during the incident. The incident happened in July at The Landing, a rooftop bar in Florida. Police say Matthew Day, 30, pulled out his penis and urinated onto the sidewalk below. According to the arrest report, Day was intoxicated and several passersby were "struck with urine." He was charged with disorderly conduct and released after posting a $500 bond. On January 6, The Smoking Gun reported that Day reached a pretrial intervention agreement. A judge approved the deal, allowing the case to be resolved without a trial. Under the agreement, Day accepted responsibility, must complete 50 hours of community service, undergo alcohol evaluation and counseling, and pay supervision and prosecution fees. For six months, he is also banned from bars and clubs. Florida rooftop bars, it turns out, expect guests to aim for the bathroom.
