A self proclaimed prophet in Ghana says a global biblical flood will begin on December 25 and is building wooden arks to save humanity. He calls himself Ebo Noah.
Ebo Noah claims God warned him a three year flood will soon cover the Earth. He says he was chosen to repeat the mission of the biblical Noah and protect people and animals.
He has been preaching since August and says he was instructed to build up to ten wooden arks. Supporters claim each ark could hold thousands, while others repeat claims of up to 600,000,000 people.
Videos show Ebo Noah inspecting rough wooden boats and reading from a book while wearing ragged clothing. Online critics mock the project, asking about Wi Fi, but he says Noah was also laughed at.
At one point, Ebo Noah said animals had begun arriving at the ark site "by divine instruction." No independent source has confirmed animals gathering or even the exact location of the arks.
Despite hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok and Instagram, no major Ghanaian outlet has verified his identity. For now, the prophecy faces its first test on Christmas Day.
