Maui's 10-Year-Old Princess Flies to Forever Home After 800 Days

Princess, a 10-year-old dog, endured 800 days at Maui Humane Society, becoming its longest resident. Diagnosed with a heart condition, she was known for her joyful 'tip-tap' dance. A viral video caught the attention of Ginger Cabais in O'ahu, who felt compelled to adopt her.
Cabais, experienced in rescuing street dogs, coordinated with pilot Bianca Vasquez to transport Princess. Vasquez, also a flight instructor, used the journey as a training flight, ensuring Princess traveled comfortably in a Cessna 172, avoiding the stress of commercial flights.
Upon arrival, Princess met Cabais with joyful recognition, as if knowing she was finally home, ready to spend her golden years in comfort and love.
