Swiss powerlifter Elias Meyer, clad only in swim shorts, lay face-down in Andermatt as shovels piled snow over him, forming a one-meter-high mound. Monitored by medical staff, he remained buried for 2 hours and 7 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 1 hour, 45 minutes, and 2 seconds set by Valerjan Romanovski in 2022.

Meyer, accustomed to 3ºC temperatures, aimed to demonstrate human resilience. Emerging from the snowpile, he remarked, 'The heavy snow pressed me down, causing my shoulders and elbows to ache.' He hinted at future attempts, stating there's 'much more to come.'

After 2 hours and 7 seconds buried under snow, Meyer emerged, proving that Swiss powerlifters can out-chill even the most seasoned snowmen.
