AI startup Builder.ai introduced 'Natasha' as the world's first AI software expert, designed to help businesses order tailor-made software. However, reports revealed that 'Natasha' was not an AI but a front for 700 Indian coders manually handling the tasks.

This revelation has sparked debates about the authenticity of AI claims in the tech industry. Builder.ai's founder, Sachin Dev Duggal, had previously stated that 'Natasha' could manage projects in real-time, compressing weeks of work into hours.

Despite the controversy, Builder.ai secured significant investments, including a partnership with Microsoft to integrate 'Natasha' into its product line, aiming to bring non-technical app development to a broader audience.
