Freda Jackson, an 81-year-old British pensioner from Blackburn, Lancashire, expressed distress over her two-week stay at the Poseidon Playa hotel in Benidorm, Spain. She lamented that the hotel was 'full of Spanish holidaymakers' who she described as 'rude,' recounting an incident where a Spanish guest nearly knocked her over without apologizing. Jackson questioned, 'Why can't the Spanish go somewhere else for their holidays?'

Despite requesting accommodation on flat ground due to mobility issues, Jackson found the hotel situated on a slope, initially being assigned a room on the 14th floor before being moved to the second floor. She and her friend, who together paid £1,133 for the trip, have demanded a full refund or a free holiday as compensation for their 'disastrous' experience.

Jackson's complaint about 'too many Spaniards' in a Spanish hotel has sparked widespread discussion, highlighting the complexities of tourist expectations and cultural interactions in popular holiday destinations.
