Czech Family's $185K DIY Dental Clinic: Root Canals via YouTube

In Havlíčkův Brod, Czech Republic, a 22-year-old man and his parents operated an unlicensed dental clinic for two years, performing procedures like root canals and extractions learned from online tutorials, earning approximately 4 million Czech koruna ($185,000) before their arrest.
The mother, a 50-year-old nurse, supplied anesthetics and dental materials, while the 44-year-old father crafted prosthetic devices. The trio faces up to eight years in prison for charges including illegal business operations and money laundering.
Despite lacking formal training, the family treated dozens of patients, highlighting a concerning trend of unlicensed dental practices in the region.
