A self described prophet in Ghana canceled a promised Christmas apocalypse and announced the rapture was postponed, days after December 25 passed without the foretold global flood.
Ebo Enoch had told followers the world would be devoured by water on December 25, predicting a flood that would last three years and spare only true believers.
When nothing happened, Enoch said God granted more time and ordered him to expand an ark project, effectively postponing the rapture he had advertised across social media.
According to Ghana Web, he claims to have built around 10 arks and had urged supporters to donate, with reports of people selling belongings and gathering to board.
Those donations drew scrutiny after reports said Enoch bought a Mercedes worth $100,000, money followers believed was earmarked for building the ships.
Enoch has posted videos inspecting the vessels and welcoming all believers, a spectacle that ended not with a flood, but with a canceled apocalypse and a new car.
