12-Year-Old's LEGO Pandas Overrun Washington Landmarks

At the LEGO Discovery Center in Washington, D.C., 12-year-old Ricky's 'Panda-monium in D.C.' showcases pandas overtaking iconic sites like the Washington Monument and National Museum. This imaginative build, completed in 'easily 100 hours,' is now vying for the Global Mini Master Model Builder title.
Ricky's creation, featuring pandas seizing the Hope Diamond and the Declaration of Independence, will be displayed at the LEGO House in Billund, Denmark, alongside entries from 27 other centers. The winner earns the inaugural Global Mini Master Model Builder title.
The build also humorously portrays pandas commandeering a Metro station and Lincoln's stovepipe hat, blending historical reverence with playful absurdity.
