Long Island kitten Piper, trapped 10–15 feet below a Bay Shore deck, was coaxed out using recorded meows and a catch pole by John Debacker of Cat and Kitten Solution. Firefighters uncovered the feline deep in a downspout, prompting one rescuer to call the experience 'a real cat-and-mouse game.'

Pulled from a hidden pipe after days underground, Piper now awaits adoption through NYC Second Chance Rescue. The search continues for her possible mother and siblings, as rescuers hope to spay the elusive cat. Debacker quipped, 'You never know what’s under your deck.'

Rescuers used a recording of kitten meows to successfully lure Piper out from a 15-foot underground pipe, turning a backyard mystery into a feline reunion.
