At Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, a tug vehicle collided with an aircraft wing near Terminal 5, causing the tug to overturn and pinning its 64-year-old driver underneath. The driver sustained critical injuries to his lower body and head but has since been stabilized.

The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. as the tug attempted to cross an active taxiway. The collision led to the tug flipping over, trapping the driver beneath it. Despite the severity, no other injuries were reported, and airport operations remained largely unaffected.

The 64-year-old tug driver, critically injured in the collision, has been stabilized after receiving treatment for lower body and head injuries.
